"Awesome hiking pants, roomy but not so baggy that you look like 20 something influencer parading around in the Alps. The fit is true to size and my ancient old Samsung ph fits in the zipped pocket. I would be wary of stashing things in the bigger open side pockets as I feel they could fall out but for short hikes, I've put my gloves and cap etc in them with no problems. Only giving a 4 star as I feel they arent quite as windproof as I would've liked but other than that its a thumbs up from me. And kudos to Kathmandu for upping the game on the style front."

"I’ve recently received these ladies hiking pants and only tried them on as bought them to take with me on holiday soon. Very lightweight and comfortable as plenty of room, barrel style to move in. The toggle to cinch pants around ankle is fiddly and I prefer the button press type release like one has on many hiking pants with thicker cord as the cord on these is thin and the piece it’s threaded through is awkward to adjust. The waist belt is comfy but please bring back ladies pants with external drawstring to adjust elasticated waist jogger style, with two deep front zip pockets and two lower zip thigh pockets deep enough to take your phone in with its protective case on. Also in Olive, Khaki and practical colours as the Trailhead pants are."

Wider leg is great!

"These are great pants with a wider leg than traditional hiking pants which I really like and the large pockets are great for travelling. I would normally be a large but I bought the XL for a slightly oversized and comfy fit and they are perfect. I'm planning on taking them to Japan to use for hiking and for wearing around the streets - for me, they look a bit more stylish than normal hiking pants."

"I have been searching for women’s hiking pants my whole life and have been so disappointed with pants that cling onto my hips and thighs and look stupid. I have finally found the perfect pants in these. Perfect comfy fit and light but tough material for south east Aus conditions. Whoever designed these deserves a high five and a pay rise."
