Amazing winter coat
"I am loving my new winter coat! People have recommended puffer coats to me before but I'm wide on the hips and thighs, and find other brands/styles are too tight on those areas. The looser fit of this coat is wonderful -- I can walk around with the coat zipped up and be warm from shoulders to thighs. I can unzip the bottom of the coat when I get in the car and comfortably drive in it. It also has more space across the shoulders and back, allowing true freedom of movement while wearing it. This morning, it was 4C when I left the house and instead of freezing as I waited for the car to heat up, I was warm and cozy. It's wonderfully light and soft to wear, and I really like the "natural" (off-white) colour to make winter a little less dull. I'm sure I'm going to love this coat for years to come."

Q&A
- Will this jacket keep me warm enough in lapland, Finland? I will be hiking mostly, not skiing. I have been told the temperatures could reach -20ºC.
- We don't temperature rate our jackets so have no information on what temperature it can keep you warm at due to the many variables to that equation.
- Where is this jacket made. I hope it’s not China?

- No sorry, this does not have a cord to cinch the waist
- Is the DWR coating PFC free?
- No sorry, the DWR finish that is used on our jackets does still contain PFCs, we use a solution that is C6 WR treatment which is better than the generic C8 solution, but does still contain lower levels of PFCs. We would like to be able to use PFC free Water Repellent treatments but the durability is not yet up to scratch so it does not currently meet our performance standard.
- Are Is the Epiq coat washable? And if so, will it require re-proofing each time?
- Yes these jackets are definitely washable. 1. Machine-wash your down jacket on a gentle cycle at 30 degrees °C. 2. Carefully remove your down jacket and lay flat to dry on a clothing rack. 3. Put it in the tumble drier on a low heat. 4. Throw in two to three tennis balls, or Granger’s drying balls. 5. Gently fluff up the down jacket. For more specific information on this, please refer to our Help Centre (down the bottom of the page) then select Product Information and then Product Care and it will bring up the articles on down care and how to re water proof. In terms of re-water proofing, you will not need to do this every time you wash the jacket, just when you feel it is time to re-proof.
