TerribleThis sleeping is one of the worst peices of gear I've ever owned, I'd only rate it as a summer bag for North Island NZ .It's had many faults and customer service has been awful.

Fantastic warm sleeping bagI bought this about a month ago, took it with me up the Ruahines. Temps got down to -5 easily. Was very warm, didn’t need any additional clothing. Might not be so great in the summer, but could easily be unzipped and be used as a duvet over a liner.
Packs down to a reasonable small size, which doesn’t take up too much space in your pack, and is very light as well.

Super snug and braves the elements!I took this sleeping bag all the way to Everest Base Camp and it worked wonders. Even at night in the draughty tea houses, at over 5000m altitude, I was sleeping snug in a cocoon of down.
It's light, and packs up tightly so as to not take up the entirety of your hiking pack. I would recommend this to anyone facing chilly hiking conditions!

Extremely warmI bought this about 6 weeks ago and am extremely happy with it. It keeps me lovely and warm and dry, is roomier than I thought it would be, and very light. Really happy with my purchase.

Light & toastyI bought this bag for the Annapurna hike in the Himalayas. As I am a cold body when I am exhausted I need comfort and a better bag than the last time I was there. The XT Pacesetter was an overkill in the lower regions but boy I was happy when it was -15º sub zero temps at the top. Such a light bag for high performance. Knowing Kathmandu is RDS certified also gives clarity for sustainable product and purchasing!!!

Pacesetter sleeping bagI am disappointed with this bag. I used it for late winter camping in lowland Victoria and found it wasn't warm enough. I feel I've been misled by the claims of -9 Comfort and the reviews posted.

Love itI can’t say enough good things about this bag,I go prospecting in winter and regularly sleep in below zero conditions, after using my last sleeping bag with a blanket and doona I found them falling off during the night and waking up freezing cold,I purchased the pacesetter and a silk liner as well and have been in -4deg with sleeping bag only no blankets and had a very warm comfortable nights sleep,to say I’m happy with this bag is an understatement, thanks Kathmandu very much for an awesome product and for the very quick postage it’s much appreciated.

Not so spectacularI purchased this bag 5 weeks ago and returned it today. I found the bag to go cold knees to feet at 0 deg cell. The bag outer shell is moisture sensitive also the inner allowing damp to form within. It needed to be sun dried every day. Not good this time of year (July/August in the high country. I experienced down fill loss as a result of a stitching fault near the inner zipper, a 30 mm hole left unstitched. I viewed 3 replacements in-store and all had a stitching issue so l opted for a warranty refund. The bag is not suited for damp weather at all.
