Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket I bought this jacket for my early morning cycling and walking. Works really good, its a bit cold when you slip it on but once you get outside it gives you protection even though it is so light.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket! Recently purchased for the cooler, wetter days to run in. I heat up super quick and wanted something to keep me warm for when i first start running, but then also to not have me over heating mid run. Does all of these things.

What is the biggest difference between the Zeiolite Women's Active Jacket and the Zeolite Shakedry?  Are they equally waterproof and breathable?  Will they both fit OVER a hydration pack? Why buy one and not the other?

Asked by: kyslau
The biggest difference between these jackets is the waterproofness. The Shakedry is rated higher with a rating of 28,000mm waterproofness whilst the Active Jacket is 10,000mm waterproofness. Both jackets are rated extremely breathable at 40,000. Both are designed to suit all Ultra Trail and Coast to Coast event requirements and will fit over a hydration pack if you have the correct size.

Hi just a question on sizing.....According to your size chart I would be a 10 but should I size up in these jackets?

Asked by: Trish56
This is completely dependant on how you will be using this jacket, if you are planning on layering underneath then yes I would go a size up, but otherwise I would recommend going with your regular size.

Hi will this jacket need to be rewaterproofed eventually? If it does what products do you recommend? Thanks

Asked by: JWillsin
Depending how much use you get out of your jacket, there will come a point when your jacket will need to be re-water proofed. We recommend using the Granger's range for your cleaning and re-water proofing needs which we sell online and in store. If you pop onto our Help Centre you will find some handy product care info also!

HI, I recently purchased this jacket and love it! I think I was told to wash it in the washing machine and then put it in the dryer after I have worn it/sweated in it to keep it water proof?? Is that correct??

Asked by: Anonymous
Exposure to sweat, dirt and constant use will impact your waterproof jacket. So to keep it performing at its best, it’s important you clean and care for it regularly. Before you wash your waterproof jacket: Check the care label first, and follow any instructions from the manufacturer. Remove any big, obvious stains with a damp cloth. Secure toggles, zips, pockets, and cuffs. Machine-wash Use a specialised wash like Grangers Performance Wash. Set the washing machine to 30 degrees Celsius, and select your standard washing program. Restore the durable water-repellency (DWR) If you've noticed your jacket isn't as waterproof as it used to be, you’ll need to restore the water-repellent treatment before your jacket dries. Drying Air dry by laying flat in the shade. Things to avoid: Fabric softener. To minimise damage, stick to a specialised detergent for the best results. The dry cleaner. The solvents they use in the dry cleaning process can damage your jacket.

Hi. Would this jacket handle a small back pack worn over top during an adventure race, as I’m not sure if it would fit underneath?

Asked by: Celticgirl
This jacket is made for small running packs to fit underneath. Our running pack selection fits underneath this jacket. We always suggest trying on in store if possible. We do not suggest wearing a bigger pack on the outside of this jacket. The Kathmandu Team
