With the measuring tape vertically, measure from crotch to the bottom of your leg.

"Thankfully they are a proper full length legging. They don't sit high on your waist but have enough give to make sure you can tie your shoe laces without unwanted attention. The pockets make sense even if you wear shorts over the top. After getting the first pair, I went and got another because I really like them. Just a note though, if you want that buttery velvet feeling from your leggings, these are not for you. They're nice but built for more than just lounging about."
