"I love this vest, love the feel and the fit plus the colour is lovely with a beautiful soft lining (thankfully not the classic Kathmandu green lining). I love that the hood is detachable and it’s a good length as well. Two good warm pockets at the side plus the phone pocket inside is great. The only thing I would add is that the size seems smaller than my other Kathmandu vests. I have size 10 in my black vest from about 7 years ago and it still fits fine but I needed the 12 in this one so probably best to try on instore or go a size up to be sure"

Saved my life
"I purchased this vest for a holiday to Halls Gap Victoria. I wore this on a hike from Halls Gap - The Pinnacle - Halls Gap around a 9km walk. Whilst we were walking down the mountain my partner tripped and fell, he broke his arm and we were stuck 2. 3km from Halls Gap with no way to get down the mountain. He fell at 4:30pm and emergency services didn't get to us until around 7:00pm, turns out we needed to walk down the mountain anyway because there was no way to get a chopper in, so at 7pm we walked down the mountain and made it safely back in Halls Gap around 10pm (3 hours). It was sub zero temperatures up there and alone with long sleeve top I wore this vest that kept my chest and head warm with the use of the hood and the zip, one of the best investments I think I made prior to the trip it was cold enough we could have gotten hypothermia. I would highly recommend this vest to anyone, it really helped me on the mountain."
