Review of same boots but 7 years older

"These boots are extremely good wearing ,warm, comfortable and my original pair have last 7 years and probably have another 7 years in. them. I wanted to review the old pair to let know people at buying an excellent pair of boots. They have well and truly proven themselves and i have really warm them in some rugged ways and they still look amazing . Well they do look a bit dirty in the photo I took but you will see after 7 years the soles are still good , the stitching is still in tack. They come up beautifully when cleaned and benefit from a coating of waterproof stuff. Overall the best boots iv ever owned so when they came up on special I got another pair right away. Thanks Katmandu for producing a wonderful product."

Rockies worthy!

"I bought these last minute before leaving for a Canadian Rockies tour, they got me through minus 46 degree days, hiking, ice canyons and 5km snow shoe adventures and are just as good for city walking. Highly recommend!"

Keep your feet warm!!

"I bought the black pair as a present for my partners mum who feels the cold in her feet and her feedback was that it was the first time her feet were so warm without thick socks in the middle of winter. I have owned a brown pair for 4 years now, wear them so often in the winter. They are so warm, look smart and are very comfortable too."

Zero arch support

"I've been looking at these for a while and they lookef great and decided to buy online price drop and after seeing the reviews. One said it had arch support. This is factually incorrect. I would have thought Kathmandu would check reviews are correct before posting them. Will be trying them outside with my arch supports tomorrow. Not a successful trial without the arch supports."

Do I need to spray these boots with any kind of protector? I don’t want to spray them if not needed. Thanks
Hi Nicola. I also have these boots and I haven't needed to use any kind of protector on them. I would say if you have had them awhile and feel like they need a protector, we do sell grangers products to help with beading water off them. https://www.kathmandu.co.nz/shop?q=granger. Cheers ^Ange
How cold can your wear them? As in can you wear them in a Canadian winter?
We have not tested to how cold these can be worn too however they've not been tested in a Canadian Winter.
Are these boots water repellant or coukd they be?
These boots are not water repellent.
Are these boots waterproof/snowproof?
No they're not waterproof, there's no waterproof liner to these boots.
Hi, are the sizes true to size, ie standard size? I take a size US 11 in Brooks running shoes, I'm wondering if your size UK8 will fit my feet?
