With the measuring tape vertically, measure from crotch to the bottom of your leg.

"I thought buying Kathmandu meant buying quality products - don't get me wrong everything else I own I love but I am so disappointed in these. These shorts stretch out fast. I bought these for hiking and general use and after the first wear (just walking my dog, nothing demanding) they stretched out to the point I can't wear them without wearing a baggy shirt. If you are really keen on buying them, I would recommend getting a size smaller or 2 sizes smaller if possible."

"I'm obsessed with these shorts! As a plus-sized woman, it can be tough to find shorts that fit comfortably and flatteringly, but these are a total game-changer. The material is super soft and stretchy, and the cut is so flattering on my body. I love how they hit just above the knee, it's perfect for everyday wear. The waistband is wide and comfortable, and the zipper pockets are roomy enough for my phone. I've worn these on repeat since I got them. Highly recommend"
