"Bought it about 2yrs ago for $55ish, didn't use it. Went to Japan recently, used it about 10 times and the small patch of velcro is totally ruined/worn and barely holds, the button doesn't really click and it turns inside out with medium strength wind. Love most kathmandu stuff but this is very bad quality especially for the price (including the sale price)"

"I bought this umbrella to take on an overseas holiday. It's lightweight so that's a plus, but when used in rain with only slight wind, it immediately was inside out. Spent my time battling with the umbrella using one hand to prevent it from constantly flipping inside out. As a result, I got wet, don't recommend."

Good if there’s no wind
"Good umbrella if there is no wind, if there is wind or typical Melbourne weather you will be constantly battling with it going inside out. Unfortunately this is my second one, and both times the frame has broken. Don’t recommend this umbrella for any areas where it is windy. Otherwise, it is a great size, easy to carry around and protects you from the rain or sun."

- Don't go out in the rain and get that into a store to be assessed if the damage was not caused by an external factor and appears to be a result of the manufacturing.
