Great features/clearance pass make for a great buy
"The last good quality "softshell" jacket I purchased was from a competing brand back in 2013. After 13 years of consistent use, it finally wore out and the search began for a new jacket that had more warmth than a rain jacket at the cost of less water resistance. Came across this jacket on the clearance rack after a store staff member recommended it to me: at full price, I would have gone away to think about whether there were other jackets from other competitors at $250 that offered more features for the same price and TBH, I would have gone with the replacement model of the jacket I'd replaced from another competitor whose jacket has more features than this one for less but at $125 on clearance, the money saved on the competitor product more than accounted for less features. The jacket is warm, has great velcro-closing wrist cuffs, good adjustment of hem/collar/hood tightness by elastic cords held in place by well thought-out spring/groove securing hardware and useful pockets (the external pockets are lines with a nice fleece and are large enough to fit phones/all but the largest female wallets. The two internal pockets are a mesh pocket good for a smaller bottle/gloves etc and a secure zipped pocket large enough to fit a base iPhone 16 with a case and MagSafe wallet plus a 5000mAh power bank plus a key organiser with slight room to spare). If you're somewhere or going somewhere where it'll be cold and there's a chance conditions could be wet up to less than torrential rain, this is a rather hard jacket to go past at clearance price! The brown colour blends well with common casual wear pieces such as jeans and could be worn over a business shirt and tie if push comes to shove. I gave this four stars because competitor products offer more features for less when comparing RRP but that doesn't mean the jacket itself isn't worth the money if you can get it at a discounted price."

"This jacket is an all-rounder and can deal with cold and rain at the same time. This is perfect for those rainy days when it is a bit cold too, although not too much. It is useful when going for a windy, chilly walk or when you are travelling, and the weather can change quickly."
