"I originally tried these shoes on in the Hobart store. Had some great advice from the worker who recommended these when I advised them I was after something lightweight and waterproof. I ended up buying them online not long afterwards. I've worn them a few times just walking the dog but finally got to go for a hike with them today. The track I was on was quite rocky and wet in sections. The shoes felt really stable and sturdy. My feet usually struggle after a couple of hours of hiking but these shoes were comfortable for the whole 3 hours. Track wasn't muddy enough for me to test how waterproof they are so can't comment on that yet."

A lovely hiking shoe. . . .
"Very comfortable for hiking but the lugs on the sole suffer on steep granite. They separate partially from the main body of the sole. One lug tore off completely on its first use! I expected better from a more expensive shoe. I will stick to my trusty Merrell FST for more serious ground. Basically, great for general hiking with awesome grip but not durable enough for an approach shoe (walk in to a rock climbing site while carrying a pack). Nice ankle support without being instrusive and heavy. Light and comfortable."
