"Salomon are pretty much the only brand of walking shoe I use anymore but walking greater mileage on hard footpaths and tracks I was feeling achilles and heal soreness. The Elixers answered that. The rocker sole is a bit strange at first but the cushioning has allowed me to sustain and increase mileage"
Great wet weather shoe
"I find them a little sweaty for non wet-weather days but awesome for the rain. They’re comfortable and light and I felt 5h plus is no issue. Not the best looking footwear but certainly more practical. Have used in the gym, playing soccer with the kids and general movement, very comfortable."

Narrow fit
"Shoe size inaccuarate based on my experience. I usually fit UK size 8 in normal Gold Top socks so ordered size 8. 5 to allow room for thicker socks. Size 8. 5 too small even for lightweight socks and bought a size 9 UK which fit. Discrepancy possibly due to narrow fit of shoe. Cannot comment on durability as only just purchased."
