"It ticks all the boxes: size (not too big for two/three people) style, understated colour that does let a bit of sun through, pop up design easy to use, wind resistant design with the sand pockets and strings, lightweight to carry as it packs down small. I wish there was: more privacy/shade flaps, better stakes, a ground cover that was less like a noisy plastic tarp, and instructions on how to pack it up probably."

  • This woven shade fabric provides 95%+ UV protection according to AS 4174.When shade fabric is used for purposes such as shade structures for human protection, the ultraviolet effectiveness (UVE) may not be an accurate guide to the protection provided and may be less than the measured value due to factors including variations in design, height and size of shade structures, stretching of the fabric, the distance of the fabric from the persons, the direction of sunlight, and the physical location of the persons within the shade structures (e.g. at the edge or at the centre.)

  • Make sure all parts are completely dry before storage
  • Hand wash only when necessary
  • Do not machine wash
  • Use non-detergent soap with a soft-bristled brush or sponge
  • Rinse well and dry in a ventilated area out of direct sunlight
