"Family of 4. Used primarily for multi-day camping N. Island. It's a great tent! Easy to pitch and break down. Plenty adequate space for sleeping + communal space in the 'middle'. Keeps the rain out - nary a drop inside even when it is pouring outside. Only finnicky bit is the canopy, water tends to pool up - have to be a bit careful unloading it in the direction away from the tent. Overall, love it, highly recommend!"

"I had been looking at these tents for quite a while and purchased one on sale so was very happy with the price. The tent itself was fantastic with plenty of room and it's an excellent height. So easy to put up, just me and my teenager did it without any arguments. It withstood an night of very strong winds and felt secure the whole time. I have only used it the once for 8 nights camping in the summer but so far would recommend."

"Very happy with our Kathmandu retreat 280 tent. We have only used it on one trip so far but it was perfect and stood up well to the winds we got on one of the more extreme weather days we had. Plenty of room. We'll designed and easy to put up. No complaints so far."
