"I bought this ski bag for an overseas trip as I didn't want to lug my large one through airports. So my boots and helmet went in my suitcase. Sadly the bag got shredded in the process, the fabric is fairly lightweight and there is no lining. I'm making a claim to the airline. To be fair, the bag was inexpensive as it was on special. And the advertising only said it would be great for taking skis up the hill. Which I think would be absolutely fine. I would not recommend it for overseas travel"
