"I bought these shoes to do one of New Zealand's Great Walks. So there was certain requirements needed to be meet. The shoe has to withstand days walking in rain. Or geting wet for certain periods of time. There had to be padding or cushioning as part of the shoe and had to have a decent innersole with out spending extra on another expensive inner sole. Which it meet both of these requirements although I have put a cushioning tear drop on the innersole to lift my the arch of my foot. Expecting to be in these shoes for up to 10hrs a day. They had to feel wright from the start and be light weight. Are about to do the tramp soon so time will tell."
