"I haven’t tried them on a long hike yet, but I wore these to the Ed Sheeran concert on Saturday, 24 Jan. It rained the whole time. All my friends’ shoes were soaked, but these boots kept me warm and dry. I stood for around 4 hours with no discomfort at all"
"Used these shoes for hiking Pirongia and Routeburn. Very sturdy and nice and strong around the the ankle. Waterproof was great, I walked for 4 hours in the rain through puddles and I didn’t feel dampness (but of course they were a bit wet at the end of the day for sure). Good arch support but boooy were the soles under the toes rock hard. Each day after about 2. 5-3 hours the balls of my feet got quite sore and by hour 6 I was very uncomfortable. Very unfortunate because I really liked everything else about the shoe. Have now bought some Merrel ones to try and will save these ones for shorter rugged hikes"
"I’ve worn them on two short tramps as I’m still breaking them in. Upon the first wear I was worried as the toe box felt quite narrow and gave me numbness, whilst in the car. Mid-way through the first walk it loosened up and so that was good. Just new stiffness, it seems. I have a slight blister from rubbing on one heel but I’m blister-prone. I took the cumulative advice of the reviews and sized up from my usual 8 to an 8. 5 and I’m glad I did. Length is perfect. I am wearing quite thin merino socks, though. If you want to wear chunky socks and are wide of foot, this might be an issue."

"Got these to replace my red boots of the same model for multi day hikes. Boot shank a bit stiffer and doesnt feel like there is as much bounce in the mid sole for longer days. Best suited for day walks."

"I have tricky feet… flat… wide… bunions… plantar fasciitis. Ugh! Ordered 1 size up to allow for thick wool socks. First wear (over 2 hours) was rough on the bunion. Bit of padding in that area and my next hike was very comfortable. 6 hours with no discomfort, no blisters, no pressure points. Very happy with these."
"Sizes vary from country to country so I would recommend you get that half size up. Even though according to my own shoe size it was correct it has been a bit tight could have done with another half size. Not to worry I didn't have time to return the item so I am trying my best to wear them in before we leave. Otherwise love the product."
