"Both daughters have one of these, have used on family camping trips and school camp outings. They say it is very comfortable ('pillowy') and stay toasty warm even on chilly nights - which is saying something for kids who are prone to getting cold easily. Stuff sack has ample space making it easy for kids to pack too. Nice one!"

In the meanwhile I’m waiting to receive a reply (other than an automated receipt of email response) to a straightforward question I submitted more than five weeks ago. We bought a tent, mattresses and sleeping bags so that the kids could go camping in the school holidays. My question was whether the waterproof treatment on these sleeping bags contained toxic PFAS, which Kathmandu has pledged to phase out. There is no information about it on the product labelling, the website or the internet. I don’t feel we can use the sleeping bags in case we end up needing to return them, so the kids are still waiting for their camping trip, and the school holidays are running out…"
