Nice summer shoe for trail walking
"Purchased this shoe for summer walks. Nice comfortable fit, I went for a US size 10 whereas in other US brands I sometimes go for a size 9. 5 & sometimes a 10. Not the easiest to put on as the opening for your foot is fixed, my previous Ecco version had an adjustable back strap, but well worth the money."

"So I purchased a pair of these originally for my mother then thought she is pretty happy with them I should get some for myself too. The issue is my feet are shaped like a fan and spread out towards the toes as shoes were not really a thing growing up. I am reasonably able to crush my feet into the hard rubber shell at the end however my little toe still wants to poke out the side and there is no give in the rubber shell. The back strap is pretty unforgiving and while it gives a tight fit over the heel Achilles etc, this can be a bit of a mission to slip into initially. She sandal is loosening up a bit now in its defence. I am generally around a size 10 and anticipating the hard shell I sized up to 10. 5 and they are still a bit small. Recommend you consider this if buying the shoe. The shoe has decent traction on some surfaces however on some tiled surfaces it is like an ice rink. I was literally able to slide across a local restaurant with minimal effort and friction on these and can see these leading to a lot of grip troubles in more technical environments. While the design is open, it quickly turned to a sweaty slurry under my foot one put these on. Odd, that does not happen in shoes. Similarly once dirt and pebbles got into the open spaces and underfoot these were very annoying to get rid of. Summary, not a bad sandal but probably not worth the price as a sports sandal, more a fashion accessory rather than pragmatic, beware if you have odd shaped feet."
