With the measuring tape vertically, measure from crotch to the bottom of your leg.

"Really like this shirt, but in my opinion it runs very large. I am an Au10, ordered an M online and ended up swapping it in store for an XXS (pictured)! I guess it depends how you want to wear it, but the XXS sits as a nicely fitted (but not tight) shirt with the shoulder seams on the edge of my shoulders. I can still fit a couple of light layers underneath. The S fitted somewhat as it looks on the picture model - quite boxy and imo would work better as an overshirt or light jacket."
