"I have purchased four packets of this product to fix our outdoor umbrellas. It is easy to apply and very efficient."
It doesn't work
"Used it on our bicycle riding jackets as they were torn. Washed the jackets and even applied methylated spirit to make it free of grease and grime. Came back from the ride and the edges (despite rounding them off as some suggested) were peeling back. Threw the jackets into the wash again on cold wash as it was muddy. The patches peeled back even more and not only on the edges only. It doesn't work!!"
Holding strong
"I had a tear in my down jacket and feathers were coming out like no tomorrow! I found this tape as a quick fix and read the good reviews. I didn’t clean the area first as instructed but I stuck the tape over the tear, trying to keep the hole closed, on. A flat enough surface and it’s holding strong. Mind you, I haven’t washed it yet so don’t know how well it holds afterwards but so far it’s doing the job and the colour is clear so not noticeable. The tape is ‘stiff’ though so I can feel the ‘square’ patch of tape very time I brush my hands over it."

- Although these are not currently available online , I can see almost every store in NZ has some in stock. I would recommend you call your nearest store and get them to put the item on hold for you ready for you to pick up.

- Yes it could however this hasn't been tested by us.

- Yes it would be suitable for repairing tent bug mesh.
- Hi ! Can I use it for fix Canvas tent ?
- This product is not suitable for canvas repairs - it adheres to: nylon, polyester, fleece, vinyl, rubber, non-oiled leather and GORE-TEX fabric.
- Can this be used to fix the inside lining of the upper flap in a hiking boot. the flap which sits under the lace but on the inside
- No sorry this would not be suitable to fix this. I would take your boots to a repair agency to be fixed properly so that you can get the best use out of them.
