Disappointed - sizing has changed!

"I have been a big fan of these pants for work for years however after recent purchases to replace my existing 5 pairs, unfortunately found that the sizing and fit have changed quite a bit. Exchanged the first couple of pairs for the next size in hope they would fit better but again, was disappointed so ended up returning all pairs for a full refund and am now on the hunt for a new work pant."

"Wore these recently on bush hike. Comfortable and with some ‘give’ when climbing up steep parts of the trail. Good fit although would be tight if I was to wear my merino leggings underneath if colder weather. Unfortunately the next size up (12) was too loose around the waist, an 11 would be good!"

"I never write reviews but must say I’m delighted with these trousers. I bought a version of these many years ago and wore them a hundred times. The fit was perfect for me. I gave up finding them again in the usual hiking shops until looking on line. Took a chance ordering and I’m over the moon with the fit, length and feel of the fabric(size 12 5ft6). What is the length of the inside leg please?
80cm
In one or two photos they look like they have a zip and they are removable that makes them just over the knee. Am I seeing this correctly, for me I just want one length no zip, don't want quarter pants or whatever they are called..
There is no zip off feature to these pants.
What is the difference between the new flight pants and the ones in clearance?
The new style has a bit less Elastane to the material composition and is slightly different in the measurements but not significantly.
