"Not really yet tried. Some reviews say the metal piece came thru quickly again. I have pushed very small washers into the tip before inserting the poll into the rubber tip. TGime will tell - but hope the metal does not wear thru too quickly - seems like it might work!!!"
"Terrible - wore through in one four hour walk. Took them back and it took a while before the Manager would replace them. I thought I would try again and put something in the end to stop the tip wearing through. I ended up finding another brand that fitted my poles that was quarter the price. I have so far walked 250 km with the other brand and they are still are going strong. Go elsewhere."
