"I bought these as a leap of faith because I had never owned a pair of hiking poles before, and these were on the pricey side. But I am a convert and I find them to be money well spent. I bought them to improve my stability during bush walks, and, by extension, my confidence. They definitely hit the brief, and they also offer the added benefit of allowing me to take some of my body weight into my arms when my legs get tired, especially during uphill climbs. "have had a pair of these for a couple of years - yes light but find the twist locking mech can slip which is not ideal. Had to retire one after one of the kids caught it in between some rocks and lower section got a decent bend. Was a bit disappointing Kathmandu don't have a source of spare parts available to purchase. Wouldn't purchase again."

I bought this item for an off-road hiking about 4 days (75km), rubber was broken so I went back bought 2 pairs rubber. The replacement are low level designed…. - we have lost one pole. can we buy a single pole to match existing??
- Unfortunately, not online sorry. If there are any stores near you it would be worth contacting them to enquire whether they have a spare pole from a faulty or returned pair.
- How much do they weigh if they are so lightweight?
- 175 grams each pole. See one of the photos. I bought this myself from a store on sale to be used on a trek next day on. This did the job for me. But there are more lighter, more compact and cheaper branded products out there.
