We’re proud to partner with Zentera Wool Company, bringing some of the world’s best merino wool into Kathmandu’s collections. Built on a shared commitment to quality, performance and respect for the planet, this partnership connects our gear more closely to the land it comes from.
From Autumn Winter 2027, our merino range will incorporate ZQ+ certified wool, a premium fibre that’s traceable back to farm and grown using regenerative practices. It represents a meaningful process in how we source materials, shaped by time spent on the ground with growers, understanding the care, systems and landscapes behind every fibre.
Our wool is sourced from the Kathmandu grower group, a collective of ZQ+ certified farms across New Zealand and Australia, including Castle Hill Station in Arthurs Pass, Cloudy Peak Station in Central Otago, DJG Redhill Station in New South Wales and Corea Station in Victoria. Each farm is selected for its commitment to responsible land management, animal welfare and fibre quality. This close connection gives us visibility of where our wool comes from and the link between our products and the people and places behind them.

The wool will come from a pool of ZQ+ certified growers. These growers supply Kathmandu amongst other high-end brands in the ZQ and ZQ+ portfolio.
