Rated 5 out of 5 by from First pair of Kathmandu Shoes for me. I am normally an ASICS / New Balance shoe guy, the NB880GTX has been my go to shoe for some time, but at $280 a pair and me doing 20,000 plus steps a day the soles only last maybe six months. So I decided to give these a try while they were on special. I normally take a 2E size and these don’t come as a wide fit, but they are actually ok, as long as your not wearing heavy socks. For the price these are an excellent buy, they are a stiff soled shoe, great for walking and very supportive. Not sure what rise they are, I am guessing between 8 to 10mm which is what I would normally need, these feel about right for me. I have a historic Achilles injury so very aware of what I am putting my feet through on a long walk, these shoes have impressed me enough that I will continue to look at the Kathmandu brand before I go with ASICS or NB again. Very good quality shoe, and no leaks in the rain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features and optimum comfort.... Only a month old, but the shoes are so comfortable that I feel like wearing it over a year or so! Excellent colour combination, very light and easy to clean. Couldn't be happier with others having this pair!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really happy with my purchase I bought these a month ago whilst they were on special. They were a steal at the reduced price. I've worn them several times on the trail and they are very comfortable and have better grip that I expected. Some lovely cushioning whilst retaining firmness and the shoes have solid protection/support in all the key areas. I'll be interested to se how they stand up over time but the early signs are very positive. Based on my current experiences, I'd be happy to buy these again at rrp.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not bad Bought for everyday wear, lady who serve me told me it is very breathable, but I wish it can be more breathable, feet and nails still wet after whole day wearing, I missed my old shoes.

Are these shoes good for everyday wear I am a cleaner so want a good show that is comfy and non slip.

Asked by: How 0470
While these are designed to be out hiking, these would be a suitable shoe for comfort and traction. A great shoe to be in for long periods of time!

Aysen ngx Men's Low Shoes. This may sound a silly question but I am (M) and these shoes dont come in a UK 7 . what is the difference between the Mens and Ladies?

Asked by: 40 short leg
The sizing between Mens & Womens is a bit different where the Mens is a couple sizes bigger, and Womens are generally a bit narrower than Mens styles.

Can you run in these shoes?

Asked by: John31
These shoes are designed as a hiking shoe not a trail shoe so would not be ideal to run in, hiking shoes & trail running shoes use different materials in their construction - with trail running shoes generally having more flexibility and ease of motion in the front of the shoe.
