Questions & Answers
Hi, I’d like to know if these shoes have a wide toe box and if they can be worn with orthotics? Thankyou, Jane
Asked by: Furneaux
Yes these are on the wider end of our fit spectrum & the inner soles are removable so you should be able to insert your orthotics,

Comfortable from first wearBought these for adventurous dog walking as opposed to hiking. Keep feet super dry even stepping through a shallow creek.

Not waterproofHave had these a couple of months now. Comfortable and sturdy, but not at all waterproof which was the main feature I was looking for. You could say they are water resistant but even that's a stretch.

Definitely waterproofI purchased Merrell Siren Edge to wear in Europe during Autumn. They were great in the wet weather and along with the Kathmandu merino socks, kept my feet warm and dry. The foot bed feels a bit strange each time I put them on and they’re not the most comfortable Merrell shoes but they are quite cushioned and my feet became accustomed to wearing them each time I wore them. I’d give them 3.5 stars.
