Questions & Answers
I am looking for a windproof and also warm jacket/fleece to wear as an outer layer mostly in Autumn and Spring. Ideally something reasonably light than can be packed away for travel. Either this or Aysen Men’s Hooded Jacket - thoughts?
Asked by: Doubie
They will both be great options for what you've described, with similar warmth & wind resistance between them. The Aysen is slightly heavier & has a hood which will be the most notable difference.

Super wind blocker and comfortableI bought this nearly 2 years ago now for activities in the wind and light rain and I haven't been disappointed. It stops the wind dead and it has plenty of stretch in it. I originally bought it to play golf in on those cold windy days and it does the job without restricting my swing. Since then I have hiked in it regularly. Last year I did the Tour of Mont Blanc and on those cold, windy and drissly days, high in the Alps, it was a great solution and I was always warm. It doesnt pack as light as a soft shell parker but it offers great protection and a really comfortable fit with stretch. I am very happy with it and wear it regularly walking/hiking, sporting and around the house. Note I tried this in store along with a few other similar jackets but this had the best fit and most stretch and give for me.

Good featuresI bought this 3 weeks ago and its been good but could be warmer, not enough insulation inside the garment, sleeves are tight so not much room for layering, a regular fleece is equivalent in my opinion
