Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great boots but! I bought these boots for a hiking holiday in the Scottish Highlands. Felt very comfortable on Monday, but when I tried to tie the laces, on the second day, one of the lower "D" rings pilled out of the boot. Fortunately our tour group were on Fort William with it myriad of camping stores so I was able to buy a replacement pair. On my return Kathmandu staff at the Mt Gravatt store gave me a full refund.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Comfortable but unreliable quality I took it for a snow sluggish hike up at Mount Donna Buang on Monday for the 1st time. I was impressed on how lightweight & comfortable it was. The track up & down the summit were muddy, wet & slushie due to the snow & very uneven ground. It was steep with rocks but the boots managed to cushion my ankles & feet well despite a few slips. However since it was supposed to be waterproof, i was greatly dissapointed that the “waterproof” was only somewhat applicable to the left boot but not the right!? That was a tad strange. The right boot was completely drenched & wet through - no different to a non-water repellant sneakers. The left boot was somewhat water repellant but water got in through the leather membrane after an hour of hiking. Please see photos attached. I bought this at a sale so i suppose it’s worth the sale price? I would not take this to any 2-4 day hikes but it will suffice for a 2-4 hour hike on dry paths.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Boots Am on my 4th or 5th -air - if K ever stops selling them I'm in trouble. Great from the word go. Wear them most days to work - on my feet most of the day + weekends bushwalking. No issues ever. Never had blisters from them. They tend to get too soft after about a years daily use - no suprise there. Kathmandu's service is the best and the price is pretty good for what you're getting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfortable and breathable When I went to NZ to hike and travel around, I bought these boots there and it's been 3 years not that I have them. They are from far one of the best hiking shoes that I have ever had and they are still strong!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tiber Hiking Boots - Well worth considering I will keep this short. I love these boots! They are super comfortable and grip well. On the Overland Track, there were several deep puddles I had to walk through (with gators) and both feet remained dry. Seriously these boots are well worth considering.
