Rated 5 out of 5 by from Haven't broken it yet! I'm really tough on anything with a zip, and this puppy has stood up well so far. The ability to use it as a tote allows me to regularly overstuff it with all the things without having to zip it up, which has probably helped. The internal laptop pouch works well, and also has served to prevent a leaking water bottle in the main pouch from tanking my laptop (although I don't think this is a guaranteed product feature!). The only thing I think it is missing, and what I will tweak it to add, is padded shoulder straps, because you probably wouldn't want it filled with super heavy things on bare skin with the default straps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Roomy! I had wanted to buy this pack for ages and I’m so glad I did. I’m using for my commute to work every day, and can carry so much in it. I’m happy with the pockets inside, and like the magnetic close feature on the outside pockets. I’m way too short to use the bag as a tote, as it’d drag on the floor! I will be using this for travel in a few months, and it would have been nice to have a few more lockable zip section on the outside of the bag whilst travelling.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good bag Good bag but like other reviews outer and inner pockets could be improved. Outer pockets aren't secure and a bit small. Inner pockets are also a bit small for those items you want to readily access but don't want to dig around the bottom of your bag.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Took this bag NZ to Germany and back I bought this as a carry on bag for travelling. I used the outer front pockets to carry blow up neck pillow, a scarf and tissues. Things I'd want to grab fast, could lose. I used the lap top pocket for my ipad and tehre's a REALLY GOOD outer pocket on the back that took a full A4 lined pad I like to make notes on. At the base I packed things I might need like a change of clothes. I did need that as my luggage was delayed arriving. ON top of that I packed other carry on things and I used a few see through bags and make up bags as floating pockets. I didn't use the built in pockets for more than ear buds and small items because they are too shallow. IN the photo the bag is flopping over nicely if you don't have it completely full. I find it tends to stand up when not fully packed. So it does tend to look like a pack. I'm now using it to take to work on days I ahve a lot of things because I like being able to use the back pack. It's surprisingly comfy. I will use it again as carry on luggage but, as others have said, you can lose stuff in there. Just pack in logical ways and use mini bags.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My most used and useful bag from the day I got it I have had this bag for 10 months now and I dont know how I got along without it. I use it every day to carry extra clothing, lunch, keepcup, water, work papers, ipad, tissues... You know. Stuff. It is stylish enough to go anywhere and I just throw it in the washing machine, then dry on the clothesline, turning it inside out then back again hours later, for it to thoroughly dry. I agree with other comments that an improvement would be to have a deeper internal zipped pocket for a small purse. Otherwise, its perfect. Thank you

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The almost-perfect convertible day bag for uni I bought this bag (in all-black) on a 40% sale a week ago, and have been using it every day for uni and errands since. Overall it's been up to my expectations, although there are bits and pieces that can be improved. PROs: - I'm a 5'3" 106lbs (1m 62cm; 48kg) girl with quite a small frame, yet the bag doesn't look ridiculously big on me (like many others I've tried on) in both tote and packpack modes. When I'm wearing it as a pack, it can barely be seen from the front, and even when I fill it up to 2/3 the capacity it looks neat, stylish, and not bulky as a tote. I personally don't feel the need to hide the backpack straps away, cos they don't get in the way nor do they look sloppy; I wear it as a backpack when walkling to and from uni, and as a tote when running between classes or when I need easy access to my wallet. - Great weight distro--when used as a backpack, no matter how little or heavy I fill it, it stays flat on my back, and the back panel (where the backpack straps go when unused) is padded just enough to not cause a sweaty back in hot days. - The first convertible tote with decent padding and grip on the tote handles I've ever found. Even when I'm wearing a slippery outer layer, the bag stays put, keeping both of my hands free. - The packpack straps are surprisingly comfortable despite looking very slim and thin (width = 4cm/1.5inch), and I walk 1-1.5km to and from uni (one way is uphill) on a daily basis. Still I've ordered some padding to make it even more pleasant to wear. - Sturdy metalware (D rings for the backpack straps, strap hooks, zippers, studded buttons on the tote handles). - Large and well-padded laptop sleeve. Fits my 13inch surface pro 4 (in its own padded sleeve) with room to spare for a 2-3cm thich folder/textbook. - Few but quite useful small compartments inside. The zipper and soft lined compartment fits my passport comfortably. The other two smaller ones are good for bits like small wallets, cardholders, chapsticks etc. - The two outer pockets is suitable for things you need easy access to - wet wipes, tissue, mints, snacks, earpods etc. - White inner lining makes finding stuff easy despite the depth of the bag, and the material's easy to wipe clean. CONs: - The tote handles flopping around when in backpack mode might be a minus (not for me personally). - The height of the bag means having to reach all the way down into it to fish out stuff at the bottom. - The two small inner compartments could be made deeper, since stuff sometimes slips out if the bag's not placed upright. - There could be some more large inner compartments for better organisation, maybe a mesh waterbottle holder too. - The two outer pockets have relatively weak magnets to hold them closed (two round magnets at the centre of the upper edges) so can't be used to keep your phone/wallet/valuables.
