Rated 4 out of 5 by from Compact enough, fit neatly in it's pouch I took this on its first journey with me on a hunt recently. It is practical - various sizes of pots / pans are sturdy enough on top of it. It is a solid build - it can handle of 'man handling'. How it folds up can be a bit finicky, but once you have done it a couple of times, you get the hang of it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light and compact. I bought this for a 50 klm hike in fairly rough terrain and found it to work really well. It was light and did not take up much space.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So handy! I’m taking this on a 12-day hike, it’s so small, light and compact it’s going to make a big difference to my burden.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple and practical The product is a basic backpacker stove. It is compact and works fine. The bag zipper though already misaligned after the first day I took it in and out of the bag. I think it can be improved by using a better zipper brand and ensuring sewing quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from No complaints I am happy enough with the performance of this stove. It's small enough but I discovered after I bought that Kathmandu offer a lighter alternative. Still this one did the trick.

Hi, Can these also be used with refillable gas bottles?

Asked by: Kat72
These are to be used with Gasmate screw type canisters B-Can4 and B-Can5. These can be purchased from any hardware store. It need to be a screw type so most likely will not be compatible with a refillable gas bottle.

My second question is : can the canister be removed after it has been partially used, then used again at another time?

Asked by: HM78
Yes the Gasmate canisters are self sealing so you can remove them reuse...

I can’t find 80% propane, 80% butane gas cannister anywhere. I’ve tried bunnings, supermarkets, petrol stations. Can just a pure butane canister be used?

Asked by: Chaanah
We recommend a blend of propane and butane gas for this stove however if you cannot obtain this, this stove is compatible with either normal butane canister, isobutane or propane canisters. I would recommend a Gasmate isobutane canister for good performance.
