For functional gear you can rely on, select the Styper Men’s Snow Shell Pants – made to prevent snow getting in while keeping you dry and warm. Your huge efforts to tackle tough downhill runs will need the Styper’s vents for cooling down.
What is the main difference between the Styper Shell pants vs Styper insulated pants? Which is preferred or better use?

The Shell pants are not insulated so you will want a pair of thermals underneath - the Insulated pants are insulated and will keep you warmer than the Shell Pant.

Is this insulated or warmer than the Styper Snow Insulated Pants? or would you need thermals underneath

No these pants aren't insulated or as warm as the Styper insulated pants. Yes we would recommend wearing thermal baselayers underneath for most days on the mountain (you can probably go without thermals in spring!)
