Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable Walked all day in house and I was happy. Will be using outside when the rain stops.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfy for short walks Bought at good discount mid-2019 for a trip in 2020 that didn't happen, then had an injury; however, past year have worn them at times walking the dog including at park and on bush tracks = quite good. My only gripe is that the green INNER SOLE LINING of one moves about and slides out with my foot when I take the boot off, so have to fuss about to get it back into position before putting boot back on! Hubby had same issue with men's version and used double sided tape to hold it down!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bought these shoes for hiking as well as short walks on uneven ground. I bought them with the NuYarn Ergonomic Hiking socks. I have flat feet and am prone to blisters but so far I have not had any while wearing the shoes with the hiking socks and have not had sore feet. I didn’t even need much time to wear them in. They are perfect for when there are puddles on the track because they are waterproof. My feet stay warm but I have yet to wear them in warm weather. I have since bought the NuYarn Ergonomic Quarter Crew Hiking socks so I don’t have excess sock length bunched above the shoe and prefer that length.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable So far so good but the test comes in a few weeks when hiking in Tasmania. They a are wearing in nicely and are very comfortable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Comfortable but.. Purposely bought this for hiking and they did well for my uphill hiking, but they also sent me flying after I stepped on some small wet leaves when going downhill. Apart from that, they're really comfortable for a new pair of boots, no blisters after a 6 hours hike with thin socks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really comfortable I bought these boots for a great walk a month ago. I was prepared to buy a more expensive boot but given my experience retailer advised these. Went up a size more than normal. Great boots. Never hurt a bit and easy to clean and dry after muddy Rakiura track.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice looking boots affordable inner sole annoying I bought these boots recently. I took them away with me for the weekend the first walk I did was a 10km waterfall walk and I noticed the innersole sliding back in the shoe. The next day I did a mountain which was around 9km and I had to keep undoing my shoe to push the inner sole back to the front of my shoe. They are nice boots but I wouldn’t recommend buying them. My sister has had the exactly the same trouble with the inner sole.

We have a condenser dryer with a shoe rack. Can the Mornington ngx boots go into the dryer after cleaning?

Asked by: Wesilg
We wouldn't recommend using a dryer to dry your boots. It's best to dry boots in a warm, dry area, not in direct heat. For example, a hot water cylinder.

Are these boots suitable for the Tongoriro Alpine Crossing or Mt Taranaki?

Asked by: Hanni
These boots are great for day hikes etc but please note on Tongariro Alipine Crossing there is some loose rock scree section of trail at the top so some more sturdier hiking boots with a heavier duty sole will be more comfortable in this terrain. Our best recommendation is to pop into your nearest store where you can physically try a range of boots on in store to select the most suitable fit and type for your purpose.

Hi. I have the same issue mentioned in the reviews, the insole in one boot came loose after the first short walk I did and now slips up the back of my heel. Are you able to recommend a replacement insole with more support that would fit this boot?

Asked by: jhhh
Mine does the same.

My day to day sneakers are size 6.5US/37.5EUR(23.5cm). What size should I go for on these hiking boots? Thanks

Asked by: pcmanuela
We have a sizing guide you can check available online located under the item size options. Size would be similar to what you wear however please notes all brand differ in sizing/style so our best recommendation would be to try at a store if possible before purchasing.

What size should I do if i usual;;y go for 8 US as my sightly bigger than usual shoes If in UK sixes I can only go 5UK = 7.5US or 6UK=8.5US. Or have I got my calculations wrong?

Asked by: JD21by3
You would be safer to go for the larger option in a hiking boot, i would recommend wearing them inside before heading out hiking to ensure the size is correct.
