What is Kathmandu Feather Flight luggage?
Feather Flight is Kathmandu’s award-winning, lightweight carry-on travel luggage system, designed around our ultra-light, ultra-strong exLIGHT exoskeleton. It began with the 40L Carry-On, one of the world’s lightest carry-ons, and has now expanded into a complete collection of spinners and check-in sizes.
Why did Kathmandu expand the Feather Flight range?
Travellers are packing smarter. They want luggage that makes movement easier, not harder.
Designer Adam Gorrie saw these shifts first-hand, “Travellers aren’t one-size-fits-all. Some move fast, others pack for distance. Expanding Feather Flight was about giving people more options. Without losing the simplicity and lightness that made the original so loved.”
What is exLIGHT exoskeleton?
Instead of relying on a heavy full frame, Feather Flight uses the exLIGHT exoskeleton, a reinforcing lattice that supports only where it needs to. That’s how the 40L Carry-On weighs just 1.6kg without feeling flimsy.
