Litehaul Carry-On is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Travel & ride I travelled with it once on my 5-day domestic business trip and my experience with it was great. It is lightweight and it works as a backpack as well as shoulder strap. Separate top two compartments make it easy to organise items. I also used it when I ride my bicycle to work. I was looking for a rider bag then I thought I might give this bag a try. It's got a chest strap as well as a waist strap so there was no problem at all riding a bicycle. Lightweight (again) and although it is not waterproof, its material does not seem it gets dirty easily. Ultimately I will get a smaller rider bag but what I want to say is it's versatile.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good, but not great Bought this backpack for my girlfriend as she liked the look of the pack. Unfortunately it came with broken buckle and didn't fit her back properly, so we had to return it back. Plus: nice look (med grey), laptop pocket, bottle pocket on the side, doesn't look bulky on the back, god weight distribution Minus: buckles bit flimsy, not padded well, bit expensive, limited warranty, zippers not very well made Overall, I'm bit disappointed, read all the reviews and was really excited to try it. I personally use Osprey Farpoint 40 and will buy another one for my girlfriend. Might return back as a customer in the future with next generation of the pack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 1st and only travel backpack I need This is such a clever design. After looking for months on end for the perfect day pack, Kathmandu releases the new version lite haul. Perfect has everything I need and can fit for up to three days and the packing cells work a treat with it. About to embark on a round the world trip for a year or 2 and am really happy I'm taking this daypack as well as the north face duffel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Found the one! After researching for hours upon hours I decided that I wanted to ditch my Samsonite and get a Carry On Backpack and go minimal. It all came down to the Tortuga Outbreaker, Minaal 2.0 and Osprey Farpoint 40. The first two are a whopping $400 so I decided to go with the Osprey at only $175 on sale. Then a day after purchasing an Osprey I stumbled across the Kathmandu Litehaul Carry On while popping into the store to get some bag locks... It is WAAAY better and on sale so same price as the Osprey! I quickly called the store to see if I could refund my Osprey and thank heavens I could! So I snapped one of Litehauls in black. What caught my eye about this pack is that it is it is very similar to the more expensive Minaal and Tortuga - It has tuckaway backpack straps, seperate laptop compartment at the back (Osprey doesn't have this), folds open like a suitcase and small sections near the back of the bag so you can store your valuables (Osprey also lacked this). Can't wait to test this baby out on my next 7 week trip to Central America and Europe. Thanks Kathmandu! So gladded I popped in to the store and had a look around! Great quality gear that makes sense.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ideal carry-on bag I've been using 3 days a week for 6 weeks and find it ideal. I like having inside pocket for smalls, separate compartments on the top for toileteries etc and being a front loader, when you unzip the main compartment you have full access and don't have to dig from the top. The straps work well for me to have on my back when I ride my moto to the airport but slip away easily and zipped cover makes for easy in cabin stowing. There is a useful flat pocket for keeping documents unfolded

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Luxurious Finally invested in my litehaul carry-on !! Have been eying of for months, but finally took the dive and went all out ! No Regrets . Fits perfectly to my back , easy to pack and looks lovely. Had a go at packing and all my gear fits a dream , even packed a small travel globe :) Couldnt resist matching it with the litehaul plus 1 and transit pocket( a great purse / handbag which I plan to buy a thicker strap for to be extra safe )

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Laptop fitment Advertising does not specify the size of laptop that can fit in the pouch, although it looks very large, and a 17" would fit in the pouch space, but the zip is not full length. This is my experience: Unfortunately found out that there is a label inside that says 15" after returning home. Fits my 15" Lenovo workstation type laptop with a bit of maneuvering through the zip (not ideal when you quickly want to remove and put back in during airport security) Same situation as above with my 17" Macbook Pro. I bought it hoping my new Dell 17" workstation would fit which it doesn't, only due to the length of the zip, a bit of a design oversight in my mind. Otherwise a good backpack, but I returned it to the store due to the above issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile I was a little concerned from previous reviews that this bag maybe too small but I have been pleasantly surprised by its capacity. Very light and the different carrying strap options make it suitable for a range of uses
