Rated 5 out of 5 by Albahiker from Alu poles won't get any better than this Already tested them extensively and I'm very happy with my purchase. Decided to upgrade my very first trekking poles I bought for just couple of pounds, but they were quite heavy and not a problem on short hikes but on longer ones it's just best to shave-off couple of grams - in my case it was almost .5kg :) Not an UL hiker as my pack weight almost 6 pounds but I'm trying to save some weight wherever possible. Highly recommended, There are tons of carbon poles out there but some of them are even heavier than those...

Rated 5 out of 5 by BikerBob from Great Lightweight Pole The second pair of these I've bought, the first elsewhere but they've been excellent. Couldn't resist a second pair for my wife at the special offer price!

Rated 5 out of 5 by alan b from Very very light Had one of these before -- a sad day when I lost it. Hardly aware of its weight but sturdy enough. I'm running it as a solo pole and with no 'basket' attached as I've heard that, once on, you can't easily take it off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jokkydee from Lightweight yet durable I recently bought two of these (they don't come as a pair) to do the Overland Track in Tasmania. It was my first time using trekking poles, and I was really impressed. The poles are super lightweight, yet they held up to plenty of thrashing for 6 days of constant use. I put lots of weight on them and they didn't slip. One thing to note is that once you put the baskets on, its basically impossible to get them off, which is fine if you want them always on. Overall I highly recommend these.
